1. UNDP
UNDP has drawn on world-wide experience for over three decades
to assist China both in developing solutions to its own ongoing development
challenges, and in its south-south cooperation and engagement in global
development. Domestically, our work focuses on Good Governance, Energy &
Environment, Poverty Reduction, and Disaster Management. To make the UNDP China
Reports available in Chinese.
2.Duties and Responsibilities
To
be independent and creative in various stages of partnership building
process: networking, conducting research, negotiating, idea proposing, and
presenting both externally and internally
To
draft and prepare a range of documents including meeting minutes, proposals,
research, and Memorandum of Understandings with high efficiency and with
client-ready quality
To
regularly attend forums, meetings, and events to explore connections with
companies and organizations and learn about key technological / economical /
political issues in China
To
help maintain and update Public-Private Partnerships database
To
support the team’s day-to-day operations and other ad hoc tasks
3.Competencies
Be confident, responsible, detail-oriented and skillful in communicating with
others
Ability to work under pressure and work on unfamiliar tasks
Full dedication to the internship and willingness to travel to meetings,
conferences, and client sites as needed.
Demonstrates commitment to UN’s mission, vision and values
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s or higher degree from a leading university
Strong oral and written communication ability in both English and Chinese
Extremely good and experienced in proposal writing
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications
Experience in PPP / CSR / fundraising is an asset
