英国大学每年都会组织多次的活动及面试，目的是让更多的家长和学生有机会了解学校的各类设施和校园文化。Essex大学国际办公室以及部分面向中国地区招生的院系，将于10月8日举办“中国地区远程网上视频面试会”。希望2011年度入读Essex大学的中国学生，将有机会成为第一批次获得OFFER的学生。
注意事项：
1、参加面试的学生，英语听说能力需要是清晰和平滑的；
2、参加面试前，你必须提供学校开具的大学成绩单，以及个人简介（PS）；
3、由于时差，部分学生的面试时间可能要到中国时间的深夜；
4、Essex将委托Golden Arrow提供材料预约、第三方材料真实性认证以及技术支持；
5、视频面试需要你所在地点有512K以上的网速

1、尚未毕业的，优异的面试的学生，将至少获得一份回馈，回馈有助于获得录取通知书；
2、已经毕业的，优异的面试的学生，最快两周内获得无条件录取通知书；
TIPS:
★艾塞克斯大学从事研究英国三项ESRC基金项目：数据归档；社会与经济学院；定性数据档案资源中心。在最近的全国性大学研究及学术水平的评估（RAE）中，大学名列全英大学TOP10 。
★会计学和金融管理、经济学、电子系统工程学、计算机科学、生物学、社会学等专业荣获5分或5*的最高分，尤其是社会学及政体学专业，更被破格升为6*，这是极少英国大学可以获得的。
★建筑设计领域中,知名建筑设计师丹尼尔•利伯斯金, 是911后，被毁纽约世界贸易中心地段的总设计师、都柏林大运河剧场总设计师、拉斯维加斯城中城，其曾在艾塞克斯的历史与理论架构专业获得硕士学位。
★新生可以在开学前学习学校开设的英语辅导课程，学校还为外国留学生的配偶全年开设免费英语课程。
★本校著名的校友包括哥斯达黎加前任总统和诺贝尔奖得主Oscar Arias博士，以及墨西哥第一和唯一的一位宇航员Rodolfo Neri Vela博士。
★大学平均每年向攻读研究生学位的新生发放50份奖学金。多数院系的研究式学生都可以申请为成绩优秀学生提供的埃塞克斯大学奖学金。
★电子系统工程专业长期与国外著名公司保持合作关系，如佳能，英国电信，柯达公司 和SUN 公司，该专业学生有机会获得去此类公司实习机会

October 8th ¬- Special Day for the masters who want to study in the University of Essex
The British universities have many campus Open Days every year, the purpose is to let the parents and students have more opportunities to understand the school campus culture, and look around the university facilities in person. Essex university international office and parts of college enrollment for China will hold "remote video online interviews for the China region” on October 8th, students who want to enroll in 2011 will have the chance to get their OFFER in the first batch.
Note:
1. The students who attend to the interview must have good English ability in listening and speaking.
2. Before the interview, you must provide transcripts and self-introduction (PS).
3. Because of the time difference, some of the students may attend the interview at midnight in China.
4. Essex will entrust Golden Arrow with providing material booking, third-party materials certification and technical support;
5. Video interview needs at least a 512K connection at your location.
Opportunity:
The University Essex will provide:
1. Excellent under-graduate students will at least get feedback on how to gain their admission offer.
2. Outstanding graduate students will directly gain an unconditional admission offer after a minimum of two weeks.

★ The University issues 50 scholarships on average to the new postgraduate students annually. Most of the students in the college can apply for the scholarship of University of Essex which is provided for the outstanding R-course students only.
★ The electronic systems engineering has long-term cooperation relationship with many famous foreign companies, such as Canon, British Telecom and Kodak. Students from this specialty have the opportunity to enter these companies for internships.
