Major Responsibilities:
Monitor, verify and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), drawings, routings, coatings and others;
Responsible for engineering preparation for manufacturing processes, fixture design and standard work time evaluation;
Participate in new product development projects with design team via DFM/FMEA and articulate deliverables to commit to schedules and cost target;
Lead continuous improvement activities, 5S and other corporate requirements (as required from time to time) among production team to drive productivity increasing and product cost reducing;
Provide timely solution/root cause analysis of manufacturing process problems (tooling, equipment, program, etc.) to maintain smooth flow of production;
Analysis of existing production quality problems and take immediate corrective and preventive action/solution;
Technical support to foundry, machining and welding supplier qualification process;
Assist in development of operating plan, capacity plan, resources and other corporate plan requirement;
Additional responsibilities:
-Support center drive projects and initiatives as required
Key Qualifications:
BS degree or MS degree in manufacturing engineering, industry engineering, mechanical engineering with minimum 3 years applicable experience;
Experience with manufacturing process about casting, welding and machining is plus;
Experience in mechanical assembly, including Tolerance Analysis and Geometric Design and Tolerance (GD&T);
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively communicate and/or present complex technical issues internally and externally.

• Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures and results) following the PLMP custom form of the project.
• Continually evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce and iterate the development plans.
• Provide training and support to clients and field representatives. Prepare technical documentation through InTouch and in a timely fashion.
• Make presentations effectively to technical and management audiences.
• Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets. Learn new skills and adopt new practices readily in order to develop innovative and low-cost products that maintain company's technical leadership position.

• Provide trend analysis on quality issues and performance metrics.
• Conduct audit processes internally and at suppliers, including planning, preparation,
execution, reporting results, and remedial work plans.
• Ensure QC requirements and QA tasks are completed before tool or product is
shipped.
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures for inspections and testing in
compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Contribute to Quality Improvement Plans internally and with suppliers.
• Investigate and address product non-conformances, working with relevant subject
matter experts as needed.
• Acquire and analyze data across a spectrum of business environments to facilitate
process analysis and improvements. Use metrics, reporting and process control
tools to track, analyze and problem solve.
• Utilize statistical quality tools and techniques to lower total quality costs.
• Coordinate deviation and non-conformance processes and ensure corrective and
preventive actions address fundamental causes.
• Create and classify Product Quality (PQ) incident reports. Lead and coordinate PQ
investigations.
• Provide QMS training and ensure appropriate competency levels are maintained.
• Mentor Inspectors and Documentation Specialists.
• Continuously improve knowledge of customer expectations, supplier relations, risk
management and improvement, industry standards, business systems, and planning
and quality tools.
• Ensure compliance to internal and external management systems.
